MEDICAL GRADE Manuka Honey

What is medical grade manuka honey ?

The manuka flower and an enzyme in our bee’s saliva are key to creating medical grade manuka honey. Gently heated to pasteurize leaves the enzymes and proteins untouched, fully effective but no longer raw honey. Do not use raw honey or regular honey in a wound. Our honey is highly filtered. Everything that is not honey is taken out of it. Manuka honey has few if any side effects, supports good bacteria, good gut flora, calms the digestive system and restores digestive effectiveness. FDA drug regulations prevent us from discussing a specific medical condition, health benefits, how to treat wounds or giving medical advice.

To maximize the  benefit from Manuka  honey it is best taken in small amounts throughout the day. Take ½ a teaspoon of medical grade manuka honey 3-5 times per day on an empty stomach to promote gastrointestinal health, boost your immune system’s ability to keep you healthy.

Sugar content: Manuka honey is about 81% fructose and glucose, the same healthy kind like vegetables and fruits. The UMF rating system has been abandoned as a label requirement by the New Zealand Government(MPI) which now requires the methylglyoxal content or MGO. Regular honey contains hydrogen peroxide, however it is the methylglyoxal that makes manuka honey different from all other types of honey.
